I’m the author of AVERAGE IS THE NEW AWESOME, a humorous and inspiring self-help book that was published in January 2020 by Seal Press/Hachette Book Group, and the person behind the popular Instagram account @averagepeopleproblems (formerly @20somethingproblems). My tweets and memes have been liked and shared by celebrities like Sarah Hyland and Ellen Degeneres, media companies such as Betches, and a plethora of normal people. Throughout the entirety of my 20s into the beginning of my 30s, I ran ForeverTwentySomethings.com, a blog helping people navigate their twenties. At one point, the website was receiving hundreds of thousands of pageviews per month and had almost one hundred contributors worldwide!
Currently, I work full-time helping publishers make money from commerce content and affiliate marketing. My writing can be seen on Parents, USA TODAY, Women’s Health, HuffPost, Cosmopolitan, Reviewed, Seventeen, Good Housekeeping, a variety of Instagram accounts showcasing my tweets, and more.
I grew up in Canton, MA and graduated from Ithaca College in 2010 with a degree in television production and a minor in writing. I now live in the suburbs of Boston again with my husband and baby daughter.
